Online Physiotherapy

The same physiotherapy standard, from home. Online physiotherapy delivers a real assessment, treatment plan and exercise coaching over secure video, for when getting to the clinic isn't realistic.

What it is

What is Online Physiotherapy?

Online physiotherapy is a full appointment conducted over secure video rather than in person: your physiotherapist takes your history, watches your posture and movement on camera, and builds a treatment and exercise plan the same way they would in the clinic.

It suits musculoskeletal and sports-related concerns particularly well — back and neck pain, knee or shoulder issues, plantar fasciitis, post-surgical rehab, ankle sprains and motor vehicle accident injuries can all be assessed and coached remotely.

Each session includes history-taking, movement assessment, exercise demonstration with real-time feedback, and progress tracking — the same structure as an in-person visit, adapted to video.

You'll need a phone, tablet or computer with a stable internet connection, a bit of open space to move safely, comfortable clothing, and ideally a mat. We'll send you simple setup instructions and a link before your appointment.

How Do I Know If Online Physiotherapy Is Right for Me?

Online sessions work well for many conditions, but some hands-on assessment or treatment may still need an in-person visit — your physiotherapist will tell you upfront if that's the case for you.

Good to know

Is Online Physiotherapy Safe?

Is online physiotherapy as effective as an in-person visit?
For many conditions, yes — most of what a physiotherapist does is assessment, coaching and exercise prescription, all of which translate well to video. Some hands-on techniques do require an in-person visit, and we'll tell you if that applies.
What do I need for a video appointment?
A device with a camera and stable internet, a bit of clear floor space, and comfortable clothes you can move in. We'll send simple instructions ahead of time.
