Assess before you treat
No treatment starts before someone has examined you properly and told you, in plain language, what they think is going on and why.
Home — About
Lumina Clinic was built on a simple frustration: patients being sent from clinic to clinic, repeating their story, receiving five plans that never speak to one another. We put the disciplines in one place and made them talk.

Recovery is rarely one thing. A shoulder that will not settle might need manual therapy to restore the joint, needling to release the muscle, and a loading program to make the change stick. Delivered separately, across three clinics, over three months, it usually fails.
Lumina brings physiotherapy, chiropractic, registered massage therapy, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and osteopathy into one Thornhill clinic — with one shared assessment and one file. Your chiropractor knows what your RMT found last week. Your acupuncturist knows what your physiotherapist is loading.
We serve a community that speaks English, Korean and Mandarin, and we think care should be explained in the language you think in — including to the family member who came with you.

Skilled manual therapy leads. Technology supports it where the evidence says it helps — not as a way to fill a room with more patients.
You should know roughly how many visits it will take and what success looks like. If we are not helping, we will say so and refer you on.
Care explained in English, Korean or Mandarin — because a plan you do not understand is a plan you will not follow.
One patient per practitioner, per appointment. We do not run three treatment rooms at once.
Insurance submissions, motor vehicle accident claims and WSIB documentation are handled at the front desk, not left to you.

You will find us in Unit 6 at 248 Steeles Avenue West, minutes from Yonge Street on the Thornhill–North York line. Parking is free and right outside, the entrance is level and wheelchair accessible, and there is Wi-Fi if you are waiting for someone.
Inside: private treatment rooms rather than curtained bays, warm light rather than fluorescent glare, and a front desk that knows your name by the second visit.
Book online in under two minutes, or call and speak to someone who can point you to the right practitioner.
