AcupunctureElectro-Acupuncture
Acupuncture, with a gentle electrical pulse. A modified form of acupuncture that adds a small electrical current to the needles, to get more out of every session.
What is Electro-Acupuncture?
Electro-acupuncture starts the same way traditional acupuncture does — fine needles placed at specific points — then adds a small electrical current between two of them. The pulse keeps the muscle gently working long after a needle alone would sit still.
It's a modern variation on an old technique, and it's especially useful where a stubborn muscle or nerve isn't responding to needling on its own.
Your practitioner places two needles at the treatment points, then connects them to a small device that delivers a gentle electrical pulse — you can expect a mild tingling or a light, rhythmic twitch rather than any sharp sensation.
